Tupy stands out in Exame’s The Best of ESG Guide

Brazilian multinational company with 80 years of operations in the market is among the best in the Capital Goods sector, and its vision of decarbonization is featured in the publication

A specialist in solutions and components for the transportation, agriculture, infrastructure, and energy generation sectors, Tupy plays a key role in the decarbonization journey of its customers and processes. The Company’s initiatives on this and other fronts, as well as its vision of the future, ensured its prominent position in the category Capital Goods of The Best of ESG Guide, a partnership between Exame and Ibmec that evaluated more than 200 companies registered.

For Tupy, this is a recognition that its initiatives are on the right path. In 2021, of the total invested in R&D, 70% were aimed at projects related to sustainability, such as battery recycling, hydrogen engine, new alloys, and materials.

Decarbonization is crucial in the Company’s growth strategy and one of the abilities to be leveraged by the acquisition of MWM, which has solutions dedicated to the consumption of natural gas, biogas, and the use of biomethane.

The social and governance aspects were also evaluated by the publication and contributed to the Company’s ranking.
