October 19, 2023

Tupy, a Brazilian multinational, celebrates a new milestone in its sustainability journey by being part of the United Nations Global Compact.

The voluntary initiative was launched in 2000 to encourage companies to align their strategies and operations to the 10 Principles, encompassing human rights, labor standards, environmental stewardship, and anti-corruption measures. Also, to develop actions that contribute to addressing society’s challenges.

As an official UNGC member, Tupy will annually issue the Communication on Progress (COP), describing the efforts of the Company’s implementation of the 10 Principles and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By adopting these principles in the areas mentioned above, the Company expects to contribute to a fairer, safer, and more sustainable world. In addition to developing actions that contribute to facing society’s challenges.

Many of these initiatives are already reported annually in the Company Sustainability report.
