August 31, 2021
Company joins the entity that comprises more than 200 associates
Tupy has entered into a partnership with the National Association for Research and Development of Innovative Companies (ANPEI), which promotes environments for collaboration and cooperation, discussion and sharing of experiences to encourage the innovation ecosystem throughout the country.
The company, throughout its 37 years of history, has been leading agendas that contribute to promote Research and Development (R&D) in Brazil, such as the Innovation Framework, the Lei do Bem, and the stimulus in the relationship between universities and companies.
Being one of the first Brazilian companies to create a Research Center in a partnership with academia in the country, in the 70’s along with the Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Tupy has intensified its activities with research institutes, technology partners, customers and startups through two new areas, Tupy Tech and Tupy UP. “We have identified ANPEI as an important platform with an approach closely aligned with our strategy and culture. Besides strengthening our presence in the ecosystem, our association aims to train people and mutually generate value through innovation,” says Daniel Moraes, Digital Transformation and Innovation manager at Tupy.
According to Marcela Flores, executive director of ANPEI, Tupy’s technological leadership and its experience in R&D are benchmarks for other members. “We noticed the innovation present in the company, not only in its products and services, but also in its business model, which has been expanding since the company was founded,” says Flores.
