Tupy is among the ten largest companies in Santa Catarina

The Company ranks 33^rd among the 500 largest in the south of the country, according to the ranking of Grupo Amanhã.

Tupy is in the 9^th place among the 100 largest companies in Santa Catarina, rising one position this year. In the general ranking of the “Top 500 in the South”, the company rose four positions and is now in the 33^rd place. The information was disclosed by Grupo AMANHÃ, during an event in Porto Alegre on Tuesday, 29.

In addition, in the ranking among the Top 50 in Net Revenue, Tupy is in 9^th place, and in relation to Shareholders’ Equity, in 6^th place.

The project “Top 500 in the South” is conducted by the AMANHÃ Group and is considered the most important regional ranking in Brazil. It seeks to give recognition for the companies that make difference in the Brazilian states and uses indicators to show the largest and most competitive companies in Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul, as well as the highlights in 28 sectors of the economy.

The AMANHÃ Group has the technical support of PwC, the largest balance sheet audit in the world. To prepare the main ranking with the 500 largest companies in the South of Brazil, the group uses a methodology developed in partnership with PwC. The methodology is called VPG – Weighted Value of Greatness -, result of the sum of 50% of the shareholders’ equity, 40% of net revenue, and 10% of the net result – profit or loss – for the year.
