Tupy’s Open Innovation Portal receives solutions on a daily basis since its launching

The Platform seeks to attract innovative solutions for the Company’s technology challenges, reinforcing joint collaboration with different participants of the innovation ecosystem

Tupy, a Brazilian multinational in the metallurgy sector, launched its Open Innovation Portal 20 days ago and matches between solutions and the 4 challenges defined so far has already been happening.

The website gathers challenges that require innovative and customized solutions, being also a further step towards expanding the Company’s connection with universities, researchers, start-ups, suppliers and students, among other participants of the innovation, science and technology ecosystem.

Of the proposals received, 30% have already been validated as innovative and 17% have already moved on to the technical match phase, when the owners of the solution have the opportunity to present them to the areas who address the issue at Tupy.

The on-line platform, which can be accessed at  www.tupy.com.br/inovacao-aberta, has information on the four challenges currently registered to address quality, use of natural resources, greenhouse gas emissions and machining.
