Tupy focuses on strengthening the local ecosystem connecting social incubator to the training and development program

The Brazilian Multinational has invested in the registration of entrepreneurs in JEDI, an initiative that works on the concepts of startup creation

Tupy, a Brazilian multinational, invited participants of Join.cubo, a public incubator that is part of the Public Worker Care Center (CEPAT) and is linked to the Departament of Social Assistance – SAS of Joinville, to participate in the Entrepreneurship Day, Development and Innovation (JEDI), promoted by Join.Valle.

“The Company has invested more and more in expanding its performance in the innovation ecosystem and this involves promoting the inclusion of actors who do not always have access to this universe, but certainly have a lot to contribute” says Fábio Caramori, Business Innovation and Development manager at Tupy.

In partnership with Join.Cubo, Tupy selected participants from the incubator that could extract the maximum value from the experience, either through the engagement or the maturity of their business.

“Initiatives like this contribute to the development of incubated enterprises, but is necessary that the participants are committed, and certainly this commitment will make all the difference in the results”, says Maria da Penha L. Camargo, coordinator of the Productive Organizations Incentive Service (SIOP) and responsible for Join.cubo.

Entrepreneurs Daniela Cristine Mähl Geisler (@docuras_da_dani_), Sandra Viviane Fernandes Colombo (@guriafazendoarteoficial) and Bruna Teixeira Corrêa Blasius (@b.fortees) participated in the JEDI. Despite the different segments, the commitment and desire to learn and put into practice formed the link between the three. “We apply important business tools, we learn to put them into practice, make decisions under pressure, make measurable analyses and digest criticism. Excellent for our growth and professional progress.” highlights Bruna.

The team of Join.cubo was one of the 9 finalists and had its evolution highlighted by many mentors in the program. “We are very honored to encourage this moment of intense learning and very enthusiastic about the team’s performance. We are sure that their presence has enriched the environment and the exchanges of experience. We will repeat this model of connection whenever possible and invite other players in the ecosystem to do the same, “concluded Caramori.

Join.Valle, the institution responsible for the program, brings together representatives of the triple helix – university, government and private companies – to promote the development of the region through technology and innovation, and Tupy is one of its maintainers.
