Tupy increases its coverage in Brazil and Europe

Company undertakes Teksid’s iron casting operations in Brazil and Portugal
Tupy S.A. (“Tupy”), a Brazilian multinational company dedicated todesigning and manufacturing of structural components, this Friday (10/01), begins the integration process of the cast iron structural component manufacturing plants of Teksid SpA (“Teksid”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stellantis, in Betim (MG), and in Portugal. The agreement was announced on July 1st.
“This acquisition is part of our global growth strategy, which aims to expand our offering of high value-added products and services focused on capital goods. This first stage is essential to connect people and begin an exchange and learning stage. Teksid is composed of highly qualified professionals, who will contribute significantly with technical knowledge and experience, essential for us to succeed in our industry,” emphasizes Fernando Cestari de Rizzo, Tupy’s CEO.
The Enterprise Value is €67.5 million.
