Fittings

TupyGrooved

Tupy Grooved fittings provide an option for quick and efficient coupling between steel pipe ends, or between the ends and their accessories (valves and other components), thus reducing the time in hydraulic pipe assemblies. They are produced in order to assure compliance with specifications of AWWA C606 standard. Parts with threaded ends meet the requirements of ASME B1.20.1 (NPT) standard (*).
They are ideal for fire prevention, air conditioning, and compressed air systems.
(*) sole exception: option for Mechanical Tee RF 4" X 2.1/2" (BSP)

Tupy Grooved are made of ductile cast iron, in compliance with ASTM A536 standard – grade 65-45-12.

Material

Tupy Grooved are supplied with red Epoxy painting.

Finishing

Tupy Grooved fittings are UL listed and hold FM (Underwriters Laboratories and Factory Mutual Approved) certifications.
