The Company went up 58 places compared to the 2021 ranking promoted by the Valor Econômico newspaper

Innovation represents a constant need for all modern organizations and is a basic assumption at Tupy. The Company has invested in various disruptive projects over the past years, like ShiftT (Tupy’s start-up accelerator), R&D, research on battery recycling, hydrogen and others, in partnership with institutions such as USP and SENAI; as well as the Open Innovation Portal.

Thanks to these and other initiatives, the Company is now ranked among the 150 most innovative companies in Brazil, according to this year’s edition of the Valor Inovação award, going up 58 places over 2021. The award was disclosed at a ceremony held on Tuesday, July 26. At the event, the Brazilian 2022 Innovation Yearbook (Anuário de Inovação Brasil 2022) was presented – one of the Brazilian market’s most relevant innovation publications.

“This recognition indicates that the market has realized the Company’s effort to intensify its presence in the innovation ecosystem. Tupy has been working in partnership with universities since the 1970s, being an industry benchmark. With the establishment of new relationships through structures like Tupy Up and Tupy Tech, we strengthened the culture of innovation that the Company has fostered since its inception, contributing to our short-, medium- and long-term strategy,” stated Daniel Moraes, Head of Innovation and Digital Transformation at Tupy.
